If you're just looking for a little peace and quiet than it might be just as desirable to sit around a warm fireplace than it is to sit on a sunny beach. Keep this in mind if you're a fan of winter and want a different sort of getaway.

Because cabins can differ so much in what they offer, there are also those in all sorts of price ranges. A basic cabin in British Columbia or PEI real estate with not much more than beds and a kitchen might be around $1500 for a week's stay. Something with some more amenities and local attractions could get much higher in price.
